Austin Twelve New Ascot. First registered in London, February 1939, making it one of the last of this model. Some might consider this car to be an excellent candidate for restoration, it is so sound and original, others may consider it should be left alone and preserved as it is. We would agree with the later. It has taken seventy five years to achieve this degree of patina, to destroy it could almost be considered an act of vandalism. It is charming, everyone smiles when they see it! The engine starts immediately, sounds sweet and pulls well. It has an excellent gearbox, a recent new Mot (although exempt) and is taxed. I cannot stop myself from driving it around everywhere!
