12/60 Beetle Back 1931. Registration no KV 41.This was the Alvis Car Bodies 'Demonstrator' in 1931. I have all the history from new (two large files) including photos of it competing in the Lands End Trial of 1932! Just completely rebuilt the engine with remote filter and high capacity oil pump, new main bearings, rebored, new radiator. and rolling road tuned. The gear box was overhauled last year. It has had Bronze body SU's and coil ignition fitted. Double duck weather equipment and folding windscreen. Finished in black coach paint and red wings which are the colours as it left the coach works in 1931! Extras include 100mph speedometer, French fuel gauge and 'Knock-on' (Rudge Whitworth) wire wheels. I am selling this unique car after six happy years of ownership as I would like a Vintage four seat tourer, any marque PX considered.
