Vauxhall Victor FB VX/490 Series one 1963. Supplied new by Spurlings of Hendon to a Miss Pauline Lewis on the 25/4/63 who kept the car 36 yrs. The second owner had the car 10 years and again covered consistently low mileage.
The third owner was a small dealer who had the car 2 months. The fourth owner had the car four years and then put it in dry storage for the last 3yrs. It has now covered 46000 miles and been recommissioned including a new battery and tyres.
These cars have twin carburettors and an alloy high compression cylinder head so perform very well and will run on unleaded fuel.
The underneath is as original, never welded with original factory under-seal.
Under the carpets the paint is clean and shiny, the boot has its original mat and fibre board which all looks as if it has never been used! Once again lift the mat and it is original paint.
Interior is all original with no rips or tears, original carpets with some wear on the drivers foot well probably due to high heels!, Factory seat-belts are fitted front and rear which is very unusual, in-fact the car has every optional extra fitted except overriders on the bumpers.
This car has never been restored, it is original with only the smallest amount of paint work rectification detectable and is remarkable. This is a rare opportunity to own one of the rarest Victors built.
