Dodge Kingsway Sedan RHD. First registered 1950 to the South Australian police force and stayed in South Australia until 1992 when it was exported to the UK. The body is in reasonable condition with a few blemishes here and there but a good finish overall, having been repainted in Australia in the late eighties. The bumpers could be improved, but the majority of the bright work is in stainless.
The interior is vinyl and looks good. The mechanics are all very good, the engine holds good oil pressure and pulls very well. The brakes have just been overhauled with new linings, wheel cylinders and pipes. The underside of the car is pretty rust free and now wax-oiled to preserve its condition. This is a lovely car to drive with more room in it than you think, it will take six people with ease and has a huge boot for picnic and luggage. This is a good long distance touring car that would prove to be reliable and easy to maintain as parts are readily available and inexpensive.
