1935 Silver Eagle Saloon by Cross and Ellis. Finished in blue grey with black wings and grey leather seats. One owner for 40 years! This is a very original unmolested example of a fairly rare car, as a lot have been turned into specials for racing. This car drives superbly having the full synchromesh gearbox and six cylinder engine with triple SU carburettors. The large sunshine roof opens easily, fitted with original picnic trays and foot stools for the rear passengers. The body was re-painted blue grey in 1973 and has stood the test of time very well with just a small amount of micro blistering in a few places. The engine was rebuilt about 3000 miles ago and the water pump has just been done., so mechanically superb with good oil pressure when hot. The body is very sound with no signs of corrosion or splitting. All the chrome is extremely good. Very easy to drive with good brakes that pull up in a straight line The original registration plates are still fitted. £22250
